Our entire staff is licensed, insured, and certified in Turf Management. Our small, family-owned, and locally-operated business has a team that brings over 40+ years of combined experience to bring the best services to your home and businesses.
When you choose Sunset Lawns to provide your property with excellent lawn care, you don’t just get the service you pay for. You get someone who knows the area and your lawn because we employ the same technicians and keep them on the same route. They’ll know your lawn better than you do!
Since our team is part of the community our customers live in, we pride ourselves on providing truthfulness and honesty to our clients. We will never upsell services that aren’t needed. Our only goal is for your turf to thrive because lawn care is truly our passion and we enjoy fulfilling the needs of our clients.

Sunset Lawns has been around since 1990, and in addition to being licensed, insured, and certified, we are uniquely qualified in a number of other ways. Our company holds licenses in both Iowa and Omaha/Council Bluffs Metro Area and we are an A+ member of the Better Business Bureau. We’re also members of the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce, the Nebraska Turfgrass Association, and the National Federation of Independent Businesses. Our team makes it a priority to keep up with our training, certifications, and most importantly, the unique needs of your lawn.
Services Offered
We offer programs for fertilization, fungicide, perimeter pest control, weed control, and weed prevention. In addition to these programs, we offer seasonal services for drill seeding, naturalized aeration, mechanical aeration, and overseeding.
